Derek Chauvin, the former Minneapolis police officer convicted of second-degree murder in the killing of George Floyd, plans on asking the U.S. Supreme Court to review his conviction. This is a result of the Minnesota Supreme Court refusing to hear the case, Chauvin’s attorney William Mohrmann stated Wednesday.
